Anjuman Mufidul Islam, the oldest voluntary and humanitarian organization in the country, is distributing winter clothes (blankets) among the poor, helpless and distressed people of the country like every year. Today, on 13 January 2021, 350 blankets were distributed at Ramkrishna Mission Gopibagh, Dhaka for distribution among the poor, helpless and distressed people of the Hindu community. Mr. Mohammad Azim Bakhsh, Trustee and Vice-President of the organization and Chairman of the Co-ordination Committee handed over the blanket on behalf of Anjuman Mufidul Islam and Swami Purnatmananda, Principal of Ramakrishna Mission received it. Mr. ASM Shahen Reza, Joint Director, Anjuman Mufidul Islam was present on the occasion.
It may be mentioned that this year Anjuman Mufidul Islam has distributed 4780 blankets through 27 district branches, 3000 among Rohingya refugees, 350 among Buddhist community and 4418 blankets among poor, helpless and destitute people in different areas of Dhaka city through the members of the board of directors of this organization.
