Technical and vocational education is indispensable for converting our population to human resources. In 2004 Anjuman Mufidul Islam undertook a technical education program in hand with the aim of poverty reduction, employment for orphans, distressed, poor and helpless children. Under this program 17 January 2004 Anjuman Mufidul Islam Technical Institute was established. it is situated at 44, Rajani Chowdhury Road, Gandaria, Dhaka.This organization has been approved by Bangladesh Technical Education Board.

Initially in 2004 this school launched vocational education program with 30 students. Three trade courses such as Dress Making and Tailoring, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and General Electrical Works were approved by Technical education board. In 2005 Computer Trade course has been opened and approved by board. Now 175 students are on study there in four courses. The quality of education is improving and the number of students is increasing gradually. From the beginning to the year 2011 in total 228 students have passed S.S.C (Vocational) examination. In 2011, 61 students passed in S.S.C (Vocational) board examination out of 65 students. Two students of them have gained grade A+ (A Plus).

Aim and Objectives:

  • To provide education to local poor, distressed, orphans and deprived children.
  • To convert distressed and deprived people to skilled manpower.
  • To build skilled manpower for local and international job market.
  • To give economic freedom to our poor and distressed people.
  • To open the door of higher education and give assistance.
  • To increase social respect for poor and distressed people.
  • To join with the government's poverty reduction and socio economic development program.

 

Education Program and Duration:

Education Program: SSC (Vocational) is the secondary level education program conducted by Anjuman Mufidul Islam combining general and vocational education under Bangladesh Technical Education Board.

Duration: Two years one year each in class nine and class ten.

 Students Statistics of class program of the year 2006-2011:

Rules of admission:

  • Poor, orphan, deprived and distressed students who passed in class eight final exam from Anjuman Jamilur Rahman Islamia Junior High School and other schools are eligible to apply for admission in SSC (Vocational) program of Anjuman Mufidul Islam Technical Institute.
  • Students are allowed for admission as per the results of the admission test.
  • Candidates who want to get admitted must be in between 12 to 18 years of age.

Opportunities:

  • We provide education free of cost. Anjumans school doesn't take any fee from students. Even Students board registration and exam fees are borne by Anjuman Mufidul Islam. 
  • Students get papers, pens, note books, books, dress as per their necessity free of cost.
  • Extra classes are arranged beside the regular class schedule mentioned by board for ensuring good results. Class tests and Quiz tests   are arranged every weak. Moreover, model tests are arranged before the board exam.
  • Every class is taken by experienced teachers.

Background:

In 2010, Anjuman Rayhana Mahbub Techngcal Institute has build up in 136/4 no.Noyatola plot which was donated by Mr.Rayhana Mahbub at the aim to build up our poor, orphan, distress and deprived people as self employed. In past, this institute was named by Anjuman Rayhana Mahbub Junior and Technical High School. General and technical education program had run by under the general and technical division respectively in this school. Now this school is separated from general division. So, only technical education program is being runned by this institute. Ground and 1st floor are only for Anjuman Rayhana Mahbub Technical Institute of this four storied building. Students will become skilled in technical education after completing the short term basic trade courses from here. This knowledge and capability will help them to get employment opportunity. Thus social respect for poor, distress, orphan and deprived will be increased.
